The Schedule (Provisionary*)

  • Day 1: Glasgow

It all begins with Clydeside Distillery. What better way to get in the mood of Scotland and its history than with a chocolate and whiskey tasting followed by a dinner at Glasgow’s renowned Ox & Finch restaurant?

  • Day 2: Day Tripper

Pick up your car and get used to driving on the “wrong” side of the road with a day trip to Edinburgh for a classic UK Sunday Roast and a trip up to Edinburgh Castle.

  • Day 3: Glencoe & Fort William

No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die! Okay, that’s the wrong Bond movie, but you may remember Glencoe from Skyfall — it’s easily one of the most beautiful places in the UK.

  • Day 4: John O' Groats

Let the air of the North Sea bite your face from Great Britain's northeastern tip and settle into a cottage with a view at the end of the day.

  • Day 5: Wailing Widow

The spectacular Wailing Widow Waterfall awaits you. Rain or shine, the waterfall is spectacular, with a constant stream of water from the loch above.

  • Day 6: The Western Highlands

Discover the raw beauty of the western highlands.

  • Day 7: Applecross

Applecross is the steepest road in the entire UK. Known for its incredible views and switchbacks, it’s accompanied by many warning signs.

  • Day 8: Land Rover Experience

The Scotland half-day experience has amazing off-road section that takes you up in the hills, with amazing views.

  • Day 9: Return to Glasgow

Before heading out, check out Glasgow’s Transportation Museum (Riverside Museum) and/or the Kelvingrove Art Museum.
